We've registered with ShareWaste...

...an initiative  that started miles and miles away from  east Lancashire, but one we feel happy to embrace...  Our planet has become a global village and we're so glad to know that, all around the world, there are lots and lots of wonderful "futureful"  initiative  working to protect the future for all life on earth. "ShareWaste connects people to recycle their organic waste, make more soil and grow produce. Circular Economy

This week team ACT for Earth attended an event at Lancashire's lovely Nature Reserve - Brockholes. It was the launch of the "Circular Economy Club" - a screening of "Closing The Loop" (Which is available to watch on Amazon - FREE for PRIME users and less than £2 others) followed by a Q&A An opportunity to connect and meet other kindred from NW region. We listened to Charley Rattan present "ZERO HOUR - The Fourth Industrial Revolution" to assembled SMEs at CHAMBER LOW CARBON today in Accrington.  Learnt a new word "PROSUMER". Looking forward to future events.

10 Years of STUPID

Started this day by watching the Guardian's video about the ten year anniversary of Age of STUPID. Then posted a comment to Franny the producers of this remarkable film.
